Tough sole & woodland fungi

I'm no expert but I think this fungi is called 'Chicken of the Woods' in the UK. I believe it's edible but I've not been brave enough to try! I often see it growing on old decaying Oak trees. Great to discover natural beauty like this when I'm out barefooting.
