pineapple dancing

It's been a really rainy fall, the more so the last couple of days. We're fine, but many roads are closed due to flooding and potential landslides. The ground is saturated from what they call a "pineapple express" - tons of rain riding a warm front from Hawaii to the Pacific northwest. It was almost 60 degrees here today, and the snow level in the mountains is up near 10,000 feet (it's usually 4-5000' this time of year). Pineapple expresses are fairly common here, but this one is especially longlasting.

Hubby and I often walk in the rain, but today's continual downpour and high winds were a good excuse to stay inside. I was trying to capture the rain pounding on our deck. No luck with that, but the yellow viburnum was glowing and dancing. The blur is from out-of-focus raindrops on the window.
