For the first time
Valentine's Day one I never wanted to really celebrate but did with live shows and lots of friends and guests to party with.

Love songs bellowed through the sim from some of SL's best performers, Vinalyn, Hedy Patrucci, and Scotsman Andy Jung.
Familiar faces surrounded me, laughter, frivolous banter in local patrons and friends, and many new faces. Romance was the last thing on my mind - been there - done that - not going there again - so she thought - so he thought.
With arrows through our hearts and wild costumes to celebrate this day of Love we danced, we laughed and most of all we just enjoyed each other's company and the fabulous music by some of our favorite singers as we always do.
Couples danced quietly in the background to the party animals amongst us and no doubt lost themselves with the amazing romantic music while the rest of us singles took the mickey out of this day celebrating love or in our cases the lack of it!
Oh what a sceptical bunch we are - grinz
Dancing and partying like no one is watching - I was going to make sure this was a day not to be sad - I just didn't want a misery party! So dressed as the Angel Heart of Valentines Day from a designer I had never seen before - I didn't give a damn!
I was out to have fun, be stupid and thought for sure any man who had any interest would run a mile with my crazy antics in local - so I thought!
After the last performer a group of the party goers were left, we were still in party mode. It was decided we should do a mock wedding and since this is a wedding venue - well I wanted to be the bride - I do all the marrying usually - I wanna be the bride! first time for me!
I grabbed a poor unsuspecting regular patron at my venue who has always been an absolute gentleman and only recently have we had any real conversation apart from the usual good evening, welcome bla bla bla
He is a regular to the shows I attend or hold at my venue, is on my friends list and been around a long time but who is he? really no idea, he could be jack the ripper for all I know!
Without resistance he complied to the demands of me and my supporting female friends. Off we teleport to the wedding ceremony area.
By now I am thinking this guy is going to do a runner and I will have one of my girlfriends at the alter with me - oh lord help me!
On this pose ball young man, my bestie Aimee Hamelton demands and threatens to prods him with a cattle stick if he dare not comply and then warns him dont you even think about running away from Chant! - on that pose ball now! omg it's a wonder he didn't run for the hills!
So with that we took part in this mock hilarious wedding - umm errr - gosh this was not my idea of how I would ever look as a bride! who cares, this is fun
Now I can say I have a hubby! So Mr C . . . let's just call him Mr C for now! is calling me wifey! Ooh that sounds nice - I am someone's wifey!
OMG this is hilarious, still expecting him to log and never return to my venue we are then having cake fights over the wedding cake with guests. Pam Atonia is complaining that this wedding cake was the same one here months ago and is stale - lol Pam - just suck it up honey! I think that is when she threw cake at me and had new Hubby eat it from me!
One male friend is in my IM box - "Chant omg what are you doing, you can't marry him - what about me!" omg Keviin ! this is a joke is my response - it's not for real.

Discontented with the quality of the wedding cake, Pam insists we go see another fav singer David Dawson so off we go in all our Valentine glamor!
Omg I am dressed like some hooker with angel wings and an arrow through my heart ! who cares - I just got married!
New Hubby was dressed to kill in his white tuxedo and red accessories! We danced and joked in local and kept up the wifey hubby banter with our friends.
Next thing we know the singer David is announcing the wedding of Mr C and I - omg - how funny!
" can someone please tell David this is not for real" - hubby and I both look at our mutual friend Mrs Brandy - it had to be here!
All along Mrs Brandy is offering me another stiff brandy and telling me Mr C is perfect for me and we are a match made in heaven!
It helps when Mrs Brandy is a good friend who knows you both - especially since Mr C and I knew absolutely nothing about each other! lol who does this kind of crazy stuff? I remind myself its not real its just a joke and we are all having fun!
Meanwhile I am thinking to myself as I watched new Hubby play along with our shannigan's and my crazy friends, wow I could keep this one - what a trouper he is.
I knew he was a nice guy and one I thought could keep as one of my bestie friends in time as we got to know each other.
OMG I have been watching too much of Married at First Sight and start to think I am one of the contestants in Married at First Sight.
I felt right at home when hubby finally asked if I would like to dance with him on a couple pose ball. Couple pose ball? what is that again? I am so used to everyone dancing on my dance hud solo - now on a couple dance pose wow and this is Valentine's Day!
The party is over, everyone is worn out after hours of partying. And here we are Mr C my new Married at First Sight hubby and I left alone on the dance floor.
It's late for us both and I think he is going to run for sure. Finally I say would you like to see some of my sim -
isn't that what every woman asks her new hubby she has never danced with before ?
He said yes omg he has said yes a few times tonight. So off we go exploring one of my winter themes.
The longer I am with my new - married at first sigh hubby! the more we realise we have in common with one another - we have lived parallel lives , even down to the times we have both experienced these past romances.
Like me, he has given up on finding love, he is resistant like me, but there was absolutely nothing resistant about either of us this night.
I remind myself this is all fun and he won't even remember my name tomorrow! Get a grip Chant, seriously, I think its time I booked an appointment on a couch with someone!
But something rather magical happened with us both. The more we opened up the deeper we felt toward one another. It was like living 120 days all crammed into one day.
We never slept that night and as luck would have it - we are similar ages, both single RL, both Aussie.
I saw this lovely man for the first time and I liked what I saw.
I have a lot to be grateful for and if nothing else - he made my Valentine's Day a very special night to remember - thank you Married at First Sight Hubby - Mr C x
p.s. no we are not really married - that has not even been consummated!
But he is still calling me wifey and I still call him Hubby and he did remember me the next day and we both agree we want to stay together!
Ain't love grand? and to my dear friends they are all one in a million and they never cease to make me laugh. I love them all and if nothing else Mr C and I had the most amazing unexpected Valentines Day and we keep pinching each other - did this really happen, are you really real or just a figment of my big imagination and fantasy!
