Interpretive signs, Noosa National Park, QLD, 12/02/14
d80813a. This is a very nice set of interpretive signs (photos d80812a - d80816a), telling us everything we would ever want to know about Noosa National Park.
Except.... there is no mention of the nude beach at Alexandria Bay!!!
The map in this photo shows Alexandria Bay very clearly. The main walking track through the park goes along the full length of this beach. And yet the esteemed authorities don't deem it necessary to even mention, on any of these signs, nor on any other signs, that it is a nude beach, and that if you set out to do the walk around the park, you WILL have to walk amongst nudists!
I find this really quite amazing... and bizarre! Surely this is something that people need to know about.
