Smooth Newt
My Beloved found this hansom chap in one of the water buckets normally used by her horse. As best we can tell it is a male & about 10cm long.
He was in full defensive mode & didn't move at all while a grabbed some slightly milky shots through the water in the bucket.
It would have been so much better if he had chosen to trap himself in a clean bucket of a different colour.
Finding this did make me smile & thus it is one of life's
