My Leatherman Surge: Compact Toolchest
I absolutely love my Leatherman Surge Multitool. Since I got it for my 15th birthday, I had it with me almost every day (when not in school, ofcourse) as my EDC (Every Day Carry).
This picture was taking on skiing holidays in Italy, in a nice field of moss, next to the trail. Somehow this photo reminds me of some Elvish Settlement from LOTR. I guess it's the moss. (Call me cR4Zy)
The milled places on the plierhead are a little bit rusted, but I have cleaned them since this photo was taken with a steel brush. (When you do this, put Heavy Duty Ducttape around the rest of the pliers, only leaving the spots you want to brush exposed, this prevents scratches!)
I have had zero problems with my Leatherman so far, and if I should, Leatherman gives you an excellent 25 years of warranty.
As said in my previous post, I am planning on putting some skateboard tape on the handles. When my hands are sweaty (happens sometimes xD) or just wet from snow or water, the tool is kinda' slippery. Adding a rougher texture to it will enhance the traction a lot, and I think it would look sick. I'll keep you updated.
First I have to find the darn thing, I looked everywhere (sporting stores (Decathlon etc.), DIY stores and such...), but can't manage to get me some. If you happen to know a store chain (in Belgium) that sells this, please tell me!
Thank you very much, feel free to note the crap out of this picture!
