Rainbow

We arrived at the Grand Canyon South Rim just as it started to rain and although still a totally awesome sight the view was restricted by the haze and drizzle in the air.

 

We retreated to the souvenir shop to take a break from the rain and decided we would return in a few days on what would hopefully be a clearer day.

 

Walking back to the car the sun suddenly emerged and i suggested that we return back tot he rim as, you never know, there might be a rainbow visible.

 

Sure enough we were not disappointed and the bad weather we had experienced suddenly became a blessing.
