Mistakes, Mistakes and Again Mistakes!

Hi Folks!!!
Time is running, my group is shooting and doing it pretty well. But as usual there are some back sides, when I cant say that we are doing it pretty well all the time.
I would like to speak a bit about the problems we faced. I cannot say that some of us are more prefect then others. We all do some mistakes and let me describe some of them.
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER
Let me introduce myself, as I am sharing to roles of director and producer at the same time. I have thought before that film-making is such a difficult process. And what i did, is made a lot of mistakes. As we know the producer should organize all the members of the crew. I was trying to do this, BUT… Sometimes I forgot to tell people beforehand that we are going to shoot. Not really like this, but i told them too late, so they didn't have any time to prepare. Moreover, I was too bossy sometimes. This is too difficult to control, as you become nervous, because of the big responsibility for the movie. But still I should have remembered all the time that we are all human-being and i had no writes to become angry with someone. But after we discussed my problems with my crew and I started paying much more attention to the whole team, not just to me or Kate.
OPERATORS
In my opinion, both Kate and Tinya are really talented persons in using camera. Also they help a lot in the process of organizing. Guys filmed a lot of nice scenes but there were few problems we faced during the shooting process. And now I would like you to look at the picture of our main actress Tisha at the top.
What can you see? It looks like we were using iphone or blackberry to shoot this scene. NO FOCUS! We were discussing the focus for few minutes, but still decided to shoot in this way. THE RESULT? We are re-shooting it on Saturday. Furthermore, we all the time forget to check the horisont line. Yes, I know that we can edit it in Final Cut Pro, but do we need to do it, if can make it perfect from the beginning?
However, we are all the beginners in this industry, and it would be weird if didn't have any problems. But these problems made us think a lot what should we do in advance we start doing it. The failed class scene taught us to organize everything, before start shooting. We should have a plan with camera`s positions, should know the right order of scenes, should check sound and lightening twice, should control the tape is rewinded, etc. But this is a good life school for us and for our future works in a group.
