Binding: Full blind-tooled pig over angled-edge, indented wooden boards; left board has central panel with Crucifixion and brazen serpent (cf. Numbers 21:1) and partially illegible motto ("ECCE.AGNVS.DEI.QVI.TOLLIT.PECCATA.MUNDI.IOANNH[...]"); right board has central panel with Resurrection and motto ("PRO.MORS.TVA.O.MORS.MORSUS.ERO.TVVS.INFERNVM"); 2 leather and metal clasps with metal catchplates; 4 raised bands on spine; effaced ms. paper label at head of spine; ms. inscription ("doubl") on spine; paper label with printed and ms. shelf-mark ("Ma 792 dupl.") at foot of spine.
