kfpsardou says: Such delight in Bella's expression, which makes this shot irresistable to me. And I love the colors of that wild headdress, & the clarity of focus throughout.

kfpsardou says: This photo seems to me to show the heart of Taivas, so staunch in the wintry woods, with the Lapphund's glorying in snow, & with a sweetness & curiosity as well. Superb dof & bokeh, & the B&W conversion is beautiful!

kfpsardou says: The contrarian framing assignment gave Mary a chance for some wondrously unique pov's in capturing these short-lived beauties. Fantastic color & lines & drama!

kfpsardou says: I love how many shots from the flower assignment made it into galleries of faves. And what other inspiration could have moved Liz to bedeck a male cat with a gorgeous garland? Beautifully shot, & I adore the improbability---

kfpsardou says: So tactile, so moving. Perfect light & focus & conversion, & I think fulfilling of Brenda's desire to take more artistic shots of Buffy.

kfpsardou says: Oh, sublime! And utterly impossible to plan for or set up! I love that it was "Window Wednesday" that attuned Nancy's eye to snatch this fleeting moment.

kfpsardou says: Another sublime use of the improbable. Fritz's palpable patience & spark in his eye-- & the distortion of his nose -- with the fantastical butterflies -- & then the conversion to B& W, & addition of grunge texture. Mardi Gras in Ontario, indeed, & inspired melding of disparate elements!

kfpsardou says: Such an inspired use of back story to add resonance to a beautiful textural shot. And the accident of Bruno's paws coming along -- a gift of the momentary nature of photography!

kfpsardou says: The famous, triple-Explored chair gives a touch of surrealism to the typical elegance of Liz's Blazingstar profiles against expanses of prairie. So beautiful & unexpected!

kfpsardou says: Such a beautiful shot from the blue hour assignment, which proved so impossible for so many. A lovely setting -- the handling of tricky light & the background bokeh colors are perfect. But little Nadja's posture & gaze really make the shot. There's something about some of these old girls, as if they're echoing that line from old Popeye cartoons -- "I yam what I yam---"

kfpsardou says: I want to see this on a gallery wall, where the stellar groupings & use of negative space would have full play. I love how the conjunctions & disjunctions make each shot -- striking on its own -- more resonant. Such a tour de force!
