Aquamarine, fade to lavender

A 4 inch square, my contribution to a crowd-sourced textile art project, by a student at Moore College of Art & Design. The pieces will be joined with gold thread to highlight the seams, an idea inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese pottery technique, based on the idea that a break is part of the story of an object, rather than something negative. An idea which seems resonant to me. The student promises a photo of the piece, when finished.
