View to Snowdon, Osprey Viewing Centre, RSPB nr Porthmadoc
Saw a superb female otter from here, hunting in the pool below a small weir; also ospreys, a lone whooper swan and a pair of red-breasted mergansers. Beautiful place with brilliant RSPB staff. Photo taken whilst on last year's cycling tour of every RSPB and WWT nature reserve in the United Kingdom. The Aim of the trip was to raise funds for te RSPB, the WWT and Asthma UK, being asthmatic myself. I also wanted [still do!] to raise climate change awareness issues.
