Mating teddy bear bees

I was out watching the bees in our garden, with camera around my neck, and all of a sudden saw two Amegilla bombiformis (Teddy Bear bees) land on some buddleia flowers in front of me. Then I realised they were mating! This went on for some time, and the female was still busy drinking nectar from the flowers. Naturally I couldn't resist taking some shots. It was my lucky day!
