rooster may not get stuffed because look it's a fingerpuppet
I want to tell you that hectichousehold sent me a rooster pattern. I had trouble with this one. I put the tail feathers in upside down, they were already stitched in place and I looked down and saw some leftover scraps from a felt heart, so I stuck them in at the bottom to balance out my error. I had to change the waddle, comb and wings a bit too, The beak was very hard. I persevered and as I was getting it ready to stuff, I stuck my finger in and my husband and I looked at one another with the revelation that it would be a great finger puppet for the lil one. So this ornament won't be one, but will be worn on the finger instead saying, "Cock-a-doodle- doo!" to all of you.
