Interurban Dart
Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLF's are the usual fayre on First Potteries 18 service nowadays - a somehwat surprising choice of vehicle for what could be classed as an interurban route which seems to be necessitated by a deviation through a housing estate near Hanley that Monday-Saturday daytime journeys make as full size buses are used on the route on Sundays when this deviation is not part of the route. The 18 runs from Hanley to Leek town centre and Haregate estate following the main A53 for much of the route, S247CSF (40175) is pictured in one of the more rural parts of the route, between Endon and Longsdon on the A53, whilst heading for Leek, 18/06/2012.
