Sea Anemone

I was surprised to learn that these creatures do not move from their spots. When I asked the tidal pool educator how long one of the anemones was there, I expected her to tell me it's been around the pools for a few months, maybe since spring or something. So imagine my surprise when she told me that one has been there for two years. In one single spot. Wow!
