Myford ML7 & Morris Minor Flywheel

An old Morris Minor flywheel shown mounted on a backplate in a Myford ML7 lathe. The flywheel was being used to carry a clutch in another machine that was being modified, so the starter ring was removed as it wasn't needed anymore – the overall diameter of the flywheel is 9.75", so it just fits in the gap of the lathe bed. The two dowels that locate the clutch assembly had to come out as they would have hit the bed. As they were pressed into blind holes in the flywheel I had to drill a knock-out hole from the otherside to get a punch behind each dowel.
