. . . is behind you. While walking the fells in the Lake District I am learning it is important to stop and look behind . . . otherwise I could miss a view like this.
Taken on a walk up Hallin Fell from Howtown. While pausing (i.e. trying to catch my breath) this was the view behind. The view is of Martindale Common. In the distant center of the first valley is The Nab, Beda Fell is in the center followed by Boredale Beck and then the ridgeline leading to Place Fell.
