Schlumbergera truncata.
Abused, neglected, left out through the winters, overwatered, underwatered, trampled and pooped on by pigeons (they even nibble and break off the leaves) yet still it fights back.
The flowers close up every evening then open wide the following day when the sun shines on them.
This time I photographed them in reasonable light against a white-ish wall, still had to use bounced flash as the light was only entering from the left but I'm happier with the result.
