Baker Street Puzzle

Made for a resident of the UK. I thought the name of this block was appropriate....Do you know why Watson? Also, I thought it was beautiful. Now, the puzzle is, why did I arrange these fabrics this way in the block? The star points blend it too much. If I were going to do it again I'd rearrange the colors for more contrast. The large star would be more obvious then and the whole block would be a lot more attractive. Oh, and no, this is not paper pieced. Can anyone say templates?
