Tightly Wound [Explore] Thanks!

This is a centerpiece staircase at the Grand Hotel de l'Opera in Toulouse, France, looking from the top down. I have a soft spot for interesting staircases, and this one is definitely in that category: Time-worn walnut (I think) treads that slope slightly down, and bannisters fitted to the available space. Wonderful stuff...
