Self Portrait

Yesterday, I woke up early hoping for some low fog. However, when I looked out the window and then confirmed with the webcams, I could see that the fog was too high to see anything.

 

Later in the afternoon, Nick Steinberg and I hiked up to Slacker Ridge in hopes that the fog would remain low enough to still see the bridge at sunset. We were rewarded with a nice show of fog and light.

 

As we waited for sunset, I decided to do a self portrait. It was by chance that I ended up catching some nice warm rays of light, but I like the effect it creates.
