Carn Brea is one of the most important Neolithic sites in the UK, This area was once home to a thriving community.

 

In total, over 700 stone flints have been found on the site and it’s thought that the village was once home to 100-150 people. The Neolithic settlement operated between 3700 and 3400 BC and the remains of 14 longhouses have been found.
