He was anxious to show us his new apartment. His room was the smallest room in the attic. Every wall except one, had a slope to it. I was immediately taken by the light and the angularity of the place and asked him to pose for a picture.
" Not now, Dad. I want to show you everything first, then we can do pictures". "But the light will have changed by then... I'll be quick", I stressed. He sat and looked at the camera (click one). I asked him to look out the window and pretend he was thinking about something (click two). "That's it, lets go"!
The window had already fell off it's hinges before he moved in. It would remain there for another four months, until the cold weather came. The blue box on the right was an electric fan we had just brought him as a housewarming gift.
It was only after we got home that I noticed the varying shades of blue in the shot.
I cropped it to look like a light switch plate ....and resisted the urge to call it
