Hurricane Sandy (MODIS Air Mass RGB)

This is just an updated image where I have overlaid METAR observations in black instead of the previous colour plots.

For the Air Mass product, red/orange indicates areas of potential vorticity (subsidence) as dry air from the stratosphere is pulled downward. Green areas indicate warm, moisture at high-levels while olive coloured areas show warm, moisture at mid-levels.
