Burnside Bridge
The final battles of Antietam were fought here at this bridge always know as Burnside Bridge after the battle.
Antietam, the worst day in American Military history, with 23,000 causalities. One of those casualties Webster Ruckman came from my home town. I am here to find that spot and "pay my respects to that soldier." He was killed here at Antietam.
