El viento casi constante, junto con las lluvias escasas pero con frecuencia, torrenciales, han erosionado la superficie del terreno con formas caprichosas. Su particular clima la ha dotado de especies naturales endémicas.
Monegros is a semi-desert region located in the northern third of Spain, in the region of Aragón. The almost constant wind, together with the scarce but often torrential rains, have eroded the surface of the terrain with capricious forms. Its particular climate has endowed it with endemic natural species.
