Last Missile Silo at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota
The South Dakota Air & Space Museum is located at the entrance to Ellsworth Air Force Base. At the museum, I was able to purchase tickets for a tour of the base and its sole remaining Minuteman II missile silo, now used strictly for training. Ellsworth Air Force Base is the home of the B-1 Bomber and the 28th Bomber Wing.
