Tower Hill is a complex city or garden square northwest of the Tower of London (both are in the lower right corner of the photo), and the bullet-shaped Office Tower (center right in the photo) is known locally as the Gherkin.
Note the contrast between the very old (lower right) and the very new. That merging of the new with the old exists throughout the city and, for me, that's what made the visit to London so very interesting.
