RIVAL POWERS STRUGGLE FOR SUPREMACY TO DOMINATE SPACE
Eleven and three-quarter minutes after Professor Anderley, Head of the Terran Government Energy Project, entered his laboratory, the group of squat white buildings was torn apart by a flare of disruptive energy that scattered white-hot metal and thousands of tons of masonry over three square miles of countryside.
They found the bodies of nine TG guards and three laboratory assistants who were undercover agents for the TG. They failed to find Professor Anderley. Gregor of the Space Police, in his massive office at Lunar Base, worried about it. Paul Lejeune of the Insurgents, in his asteroid retreat, also worried. Much blood, sweat and good hard cash was expended in trying to trace him, dead or alive.
But Professor Anderley reappeared, in his own good time.
