Welcome Swallow
Was surprised this morning by half dozen Welcome Swallows, landing on the overhead Optus cable. Although they are common, I find them a rarity around our area.
We owned a small block of land when I was a small boy, my dad would always say "autumn was on its way" when he first spotted them each year.
