Barely organized chaos! Dollar store bins to colour-code my scraps and the first few strips of colourful stripey bits for sashing. The crazy log cabin quilt is started!

 

When my best friend Leslie found out she was pregnant with the first child to be born to our circle of friends, I decided to start a quilt for the little monkey, whatever "it" would be. They didn't want to know the sex of the child so I went for gender-neutral colors, and as many of them as possible!

 

I had a lot of fun making this quilt, and it is far from technically perfect, but I love the way it turned out.
