the fates of the last hatch.

including the eaten ones.

 

long story short: the third hatch babies where split up with 5 to the old pen [where I worried about rooster cogburn the old english game cock attacking.]

5 more were sent to the new pen where others had been introduced. I wasn't worried.

well, I checked one day and four in the pen I wasn't worried about had their heads eaten, really really bad injuries.

 

those were pulled and crated in the greenhouse and the one non-eaten one was put in the old pen with the others.

 

the wounded ones healed and we tried them with their siblings, but they were picked upon.

so, more healing and this friday they went into a new pen. the annex.

leon will finish their night house tomorrow.
