we live with dogs....

and I lay in bed last night watching and wondering at them. selfless creatures [except for taking the whole bed and all the chairs], loving, loyal, kind, and non-judgemental.

they amaze me at their trust in us, at how much joy and entertainment they provide for us.

 

there are three in this polaroid, moving jones the basenji on the chair; schubert the standard poodle sleeping on the pillow lower left, and gracie in the chair staring.

 

quiz is at the vet's again. they found a large mass on her spleen. she's have a spleenectomy tomorrow [thurs] morning and then we'll know more. fingers crossed.
