Fairy Pools

Having camped in Glen Brittle when I was a child, I've had a return trip to this now well trodden spot on my to-do list for some time.

 

I'm glad I went in the winter as even out of season the area was rather busy. But it's easy to see why its a popular spot to visit and photograph - it really is a magical place.

 

I was quite lucky with my timing as recent snowfall helped the ruggedness of the Cuillins stand out beautifully, and the late sunlight broke through the clouds illuminating the peaks a little during my brief photo stop.
