Canadians Vote "YES" For Annexation To United States In National Referendum .... Stage In Toronto Where United States Annexation Debate Took Place, One Of Many Across Canada .... Nathan Phillips Square .... Toronto, Ontario
.... Not widely reported in the American or International media, nevertheless, millions of Canadians have voted to "dissolve" Canada & favor annexation to the United States in a democratic unification of Canada and the United States of America into one nation, under the framework of the United States Constitution. The Canadian government in Ottawa, will ask the American government & Congress in Washington D.C. to look at the proposal. People who are proud Canadians will continue to be proud Canadians within the United States. In the United States, Texans are proud Texans, Southerners are proud Southerners, etc. Cultures and identities are not swallowed up or obliterated in the United States of America. Quite to the contrary, it could be argued that people throughout America have a deeper sense of their own regional identity than most do in other places. Texas and Massachusetts have been part of the Union for over 150 years and 210 years respectively, yet these two states could never be confused with one another. Indeed, Ontario, Quebec etc will never be confused for other states after an amalgamation. Quebec, for example, will legislate French as the official language of the state. The United States of America would still be an apt description of the country with the addition of "Canadian" states .... but will Americans welcome this generous proposal of annexation from Canada?
