Fire Station 27 - Houston, Texas

This Classical Revival-style two story station was constructed circa 1940. This is the only historic classical revival-style fire station building remaining in Houston today, as well as one of the few remaining examples of "civic architecture" in the city dating from the mid-20th Century. It's now a protected landmark....don't think that was the case when this photo was taken.
