Abandoned Guthrie Cafe - Wright City, Texas
The Guthrie family ran a successful East Texas roadside cafe on TX-64 ,between Henderson and Tyler, maybe as far back as the 1940s or earlier. At some point the Deaton family took their shot at running the cafe. After the Deaton's retired this little place became Skinner Ceramics. You can still see some of the ceramic items in the window.
