Penny & Katie

The barn's goat, Katie, has decided to share Penny's paddock with her. They seem quite friendly, too, and the barn owner says Penny is treating Katie as if Katie is her foal. I always knew Penny was the motherly sort.

When I went to get Penny, I said to her that I noticed she had a new friend, and when I said "Katie," Penny lowered her nose and nuzzled Katie's back, like she understood I was admiring her "baby," and she was showing her to me. So cute!

I think this new friendship will be good for both Penny and Katie.
