Majora Carter: Bronx Bees
These were my very first 2 hives when they arrived in 2009. See how clean they are?! That doesn't last long. Between the elements and the sticky propolis that bees use to seal up holes - they age quickly.
Between the swarms that we have captured from nearby trees and our own hives producing new queens and splitting into additional hives, these 2 have grown to 7 in just 2 years!
Next year we expect to grow to about 12 hives.
