Moonrise over Ayers Rock. (EXPLORED).

Panorama. Before going to Ayers Rock we searched online for large photos but found mostly small photos. We decided to change that so took lots of high resolution panoramas and put them on Flickr for people to see and download. In this panorama you can see a few people descending the side of Ayers Rock (the ridge in the middle of the photo). The designated sunset viewing area is perhaps a kilometer north of the spot we chose. When we first arrived there we checked out the viewing area and all spots had some trees obscuring some of the monolith. That is hardly good enough for people who have to pay to enter the park. So we drove until we found a place with a clear view. My partner didn't have the tree on the right obscuring his photos because he was some distance from me where the view was completely clear of trees. Here is one of his photos.
