Today the weather was very cold but the sunlight was really helpful and for the first time this year I got some great shots from the hockey match my eldest son Joe played in today in his league.

 

They moved up a league last season, a team that regularly embrassed much better opposition in competions.

 

Today they soundly beat Bramhall, a very posh and prestigious team from the Cheshire set. (Particualarly pleasing for me as that was the posh town where the guy that ultimately ended my 25 year marriage hid in!)

By the way, made a major website decision today. I have a great domain name in my pocket and intend to set up a new field hockey shots website at that place and call in some sponsors and make a bob or two and of course have a link to my main website. Don't know why I didn't think of it before. No way I can make any money from selling prints of players from games I cover but I get a lot of visits to the places I post all the shots and sports equipment makers and sellers will pay me to advertise on that site. Watch this space!!1
