wonderful way to wake

This was the view I was privileged to wake up to yesterday morning. We don't get this type of "alpine glow" very often. The snow has stuck around for three weeks and we got a dusting last night. Longest cold spell here for more than 30 years. It sure does make for some fantastic photo ops. We broke freezing yesterday but it is 6 F or -15 C this morning and windy. Brrrrr. Larger
