Grain Elevators at Inglis, Manitoba

Rail cars would be delivered to the siding empty. The agent would move them into place next to the elevators using a device that put the cars into motion down the slight slope in the track. He would then have to climb up the car and stop it with the brake. Once filled, the cars would again be started in motion and shunted to the next siding for pickup.
