If Time Stood Still Reprise

Back in 2012, while I still using my first DSLR, my Nikon D5000, along with the 18-55mm kit lens, I did some water drop photography and was quite happy with my shots back then.

 

Years later, with upgraded gear, and hopefully, upgraded skills, I wanted to try photographing water drops once again.

 

Sadly, I wished I chose a more colorful background to bounce the flash off of just like what I used back in 2012. Ah well. Still happy with these series of shots overall though.

•Nikon D7200 with MB-D15 Battery Grip

•Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 APO EX DC OS HSM with Sigma APO 2x Teleconverter EX DG

•Manual Mode

•1/250th @ 300mm zoom, f/11

•ISO 320

•1x Off Shoe Nikon SB-910 Flash Fired

 

Off Shoe Flash Information:

 

•Commander/Trigger: Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander

•Flash 1: Nikon SB-910 with no flash modifier, pointed towards the colored background, 1/32nd power

 

Post Processing Information:

 

•Phase One Capture One Pro

•Not Cropped
