Destination East Greenland ( Drawn to moments of Intimacy)

The plan was to sail down Røde Fjord marvelling at the red mountains and the icebergs. The C.V. Opal, our sister ship, cruising through Scoresby Sound on a cold and blustery day with our schooner, the C.V. Donna Wood, leading the way. Robust winds meant we could go to sails, which was no easy task to accomplish. Sails this large are so heavy it takes many hands to unfurl them. So we all pitched in. The scale of wilderness of Greenland is difficult to comprehend. ‘there’s nothing for miles and miles but miles and miles.”
