kids of the slum

A small slum area in Myawaddy a very poor border town in Burma it borders Thailand Mae Sot on the other side of the river.

 

This slum was located in a tiny narrow street passageway. Poor Families have made there homes in these small hats shanties along the walkway.

 

These poor families were more than happy having their photos taken some even asked and wanted their photo taken the kids were all to excited for their photo to be taken some were a bit shy, all were excited after their photo was taken to see their picture on my camera screen. The families and kids I met in this slum were very happy/cheerful people even though they lived in a poor slum with very limited and poor living conditions.
