Day 219: Welcome 2010

I literally spent the entire day on this stupid thing. Why? I have no idea why I even bothered. I hightly doubt anyone will look at it let alone give me feedback. I suck at photography, I know I do. I'm really just going with this for the sake of saying I did...I don't give up easily. It's just.....annoying. I spend forever on pictures only to be ignored and belitteled. All my friends somehow manage to get a page of comments within hours of posting. But they deserve it, I really don't.

 

Anyway, I took the pictures today after making these numbers. This computer is SO slow I literally spent 6-7 hours on the computer editing. I had so many layers to do and since I had a white background and didn't take the pics on a white background I had to go around them all then smooth out the edges enough to make it look realish. THEN I selective colored the numbers to make them stand out more but it didn't turn out as good as I expected...

 

So...here's to my first day of 2010 on the computer working on this picture. *sigh*

 

EDIT: So I apologize for this earlier rant but it has now turned into motivation for me. Thanks to my AMAZING friend Rainy and her bf, I now have a flickr pro account and can upload more pictures to more groups. I can get ideas, talk to people, and be social. I really am sorry if this offended anyone. I know I have my followers and I can't appreciate you guys enough! Any time I rant like this you are always excluded! I love you guys and look forward to this new year of my growth as a photographer!

 

TRF: Finally a new episode of Ghost Adventures is on and it's pretty cool so far :)
