Ced 214
Cederblad (Ced) 214. The entire region is a vast cloud of gas and dust that glows as the hydrogen gas within it is ionised by radiation from nearby hot young stars. Silhouetted against the bright nebulae are several dark lanes and knots of dust, which may be condensing into stars. These nebulae are located about 2750 light years from Earth, in the constellation Cepheus.
The image was shot with a 130mm William optics telescope and a ZWO2600mm pro camera. More than 8 hours of exposures through Ha SII and Oiii filters. Images were stacked with APP and processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop cc
