The Moores: Makeup

 

[Silvia, Cecilia, and Jenny are all gathered into the kitchen. While Silvia is cooking up an early lunch, Cecilia is doing Jenny's hair and makeup for her prom tonight.]

 

J: Thank you so much,Tia! My makeup is going to look amazing!

 

C: I'm going to make you look like a movie star!

 

[Silvia takes a break from cooking to see how Jenny's makeup is going. She see's how breath taking Jenny looks and her eyes start to fill with tears.]

 

S: My baby looks so beautiful! I'm gonna cry. Your first prom!

 

J: Mom! Stop crying!

 

S: I can't help it. My little girl is growing up. Soon Cecilia will be doing your wedding makeup! Where did all the years go?

 

J: Well...thank you for letting me go to prom. I wouldn't even be going if it weren't for you.

 

S: Like I'm going to let that woman make you miss one of the biggest moments in your life! I never got to go to my prom and I'm not going to let you miss it either.

 

J: Why didn't you go?

 

C: She was throwing up all night because at the time she was preag---

 

S: ¡Cállate Cecilia!

 

C: Hahahaha.

 

J: Uh....

 

S: I didn't go because I was just wasn't feeling well. That's all.

 

J: Oh.

 

C: So where are you and your boyfriend going after prom?

 

J: We planned to leave prom a little early so we can go bowling and maybe catch a movie.

 

S: Just be home by 11pm, please.

 

J: Okay.

 

C: There all done! Now lets do your hair!

So you may be wondering "Wasn't Silvia's sister named Cynthia Alondra Vasquez? Yes it was, but I like Cecilia Yennifer Jiménez Moreno better. Lol And I know I said that was Grandma Gladys kitchen, but now it belongs to Silvia.

 

Anyway, I think I'm going to focus on Jenny, Cecilia, Silvia and their lives for a bit. We'll focus on Pocahontas and Vincent later.
